Basketball Recap: Grulla Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Grulla lost against Port Isabel back in January of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Grulla Gators took a 51-33 bruising from the Port Isabel Tarpons. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Grulla's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-11. As for Port Isabel, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-11.

Grulla wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 35-31 win against Valley View on the 14th. As for Port Isabel, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 50-49 loss against Hidalgo on the 14th.
