Quitman County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 27th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 62-27 loss at the hands of the Seminole County Indians. On the bright side, the 27- point effort marked the Hornets' highest-scoring game to date.

Quitman County's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Seminole County, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Quitman County has already played their next contest, a 64-20 defeat against Miller County on the 16th. As for Seminole County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 75-24 loss against Pelham on the 13th.
