Volleyball Recap: Marshall Takes a Loss

Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Eagle Rock Eagles, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Barristers have suffered since February 26th.

While Marshall was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21, 25-17.

Marshall now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Eagle Rock, they pushed their record up to 19-14 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Marshall will face off against rival Bravo at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Eagle Rock is set to square off against their familiar foe Franklin at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
