Whitman-Hanson Regional suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after a 19-3 loss to Pembroke. The Panthers had been ranked 24th, but fell to 51 following the defeat.
Quincy moved up to 134 from 173 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Patriot - Keenan. The Presidents were able to make the jump by beating Durfee 34-6.
Whitman-Hanson Regional's Thomas Sapienza and Dondre James have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Sapienza has thrown for 588 yards this season, while James, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 13 catches for 311 yards. Jon Hurvitz from Duxbury leads the league in rushing with 434 yards.
The win marks fourth in a row for the Hingham.
