Walnut is 8-2 against Diamond Bar since August of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Mustangs will venture away from home to face off against the Brahmas at 5:30 p.m. Diamond Bar took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Walnut, who comes in off a win.

Walnut took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They came out on top against Bonita by a score of 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18, 13-25, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Diamond Bar came up short against Ayala on Wednesday and fell 3-1. The Brahmas have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Diamond Bar started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-17, 25-10, 25-18.

Walnut will have to contain Ava Furumoto as she made an impact in Diamond Bar's last game. She had 15 digs and two aces. Furumoto is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

Diamond Bar's defeat dropped their record down to 21-8. As for Walnut, their victory bumped their record up to 12-16.

Walnut might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Diamond Bar when the teams last played back in September. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
