Volleyball Recap: Cedar Valley Starts Season with Loss at Home

Cedar Valley unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the American Fork Cavemen on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Aviators of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-20, 25-13.

American Fork has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Cedar Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Taylorsville on the 19th. As for American Fork, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Mountain Ridge on the 19th.
