East Lyme came out on top against Coventry on Friday thanks in part to Andrew Sevigney's efforts. Sevigney turned in nothing short of a gem, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Sevigney and East Lyme will be playing in front of their home fans against Waterford at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams are at an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long.
