League recap: Hamilton Heights extends winning streak with victory over Western

Mid-Indiana recap Oct. 9, 2012

Hamilton Heights extended the longest winning streak in Mid-Indiana this week by beating Western, 33-0. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Huskies.

Hamilton Heights' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Huskies feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Corey Beck has thrown for 1285 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, while Grant Weatherford has 26 catches for 512 yards. Conner Faulkner leads the league in rushing with 708 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Cass takes on Northwestern. As it stands, the Kings are in second, while the Tigers are in third.

Cass led Mid-Indiana in scoring this week after putting up 47 points on Maconaquah.
