Basketball Recap: Rancho Dominguez Comes Up Short

Rancho Dominguez saw some tournament action on Thursday. They lost 67-43 to the Blair Vikings.

Blair's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Timmy Anderson led the charge by going 9 of 20 on his way to 28 points and five assists. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Anderson has scored at least a third of Blair's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaleel Hunter, who went 7 of 15 on his way to 19 points and six rebounds.

Rancho Dominguez's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Blair, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

Rancho Dominguez wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, an 82-60 defeat against Los Osos on the 27th. As for Blair, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 73-58 loss against Alameda on the 27th.
