            Basketball Recap: Clarksburg Coyotes vs. Northwest Jaguars        
        
		
        
        
            Clarksburg was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They were a single  point away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   56-55 heartbreaker at the hands of the Northwest Jaguars. While losing is never fun, the Coyotes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings  (they are ranked 257th, while the Jaguars are ranked 71st).
 Northwest can attribute much of their success to  Jaylin Ouattara, who  went 8 of 12  en route to 17 points and seven  boards. Ouattara continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Alexander Greenfield, who  posted ten  points.
Clarksburg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Northwest,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 14-4.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clarksburg will face off against Quince Orchard at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Northwest, they will look to defend their home court  on Monday against Poolesville  at 5:30  p.m.
