Brevard had won five straight games and Addison Worley did her part to make it six on Thursday. Everything went the Blue Devils' way against the Tuscola Mountaineers as they made off with a 3-0 victory with plenty of help from Worley, who had 12 digs and two aces. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times she's played.
The final score came out to 25-10, 25-14, 25-20.
Brevard's win bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Tuscola, they dropped their record down to 2-19 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Brevard is set to challenge their familiar foe Pisgah at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Tuscola will take on rival East Henderson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
