Volleyball Recap: McFarland Takes a Loss

McFarland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat. They came up short against the Taft Wildcats, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

While McFarland had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-23, 25-21.

McFarland's loss dropped their record down to 3-27-1. As for Taft, their record now sits at 10-19.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. McFarland is set to challenge their familiar foe Kennedy at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Taft will square off against rival Chavez at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
