Motley County extends road losing streak to ten

Recap: Motley County Matadors vs. Kress Kangaroos

On Tuesday, Motley County came up short against Kress and fell 45-33. That's two games in a row now that Motley County has lost by exactly 12 points.

Among those leading the charge was Darian Amador, who scored 20 points along with five steals. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Landon Gilles, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.

Motley County bumped their record down to 3-7 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 24.8 points per game. As for Kress, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Motley County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Spur at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th. As for Kress, they will head out on the road to face off against Lazbuddie at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
