Olympic has gone a perfect 10-0 against Berry recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Trojans will face off against the Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. Olympic has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with 11 straight losses, while Berry will come in with three straight wins.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Olympic's offense. They came up short against Ardrey Kell last Tuesday, falling 13-0.

Meanwhile, Berry was able to grind out a solid victory over West Mecklenburg on Tuesday, taking the game 13-9.

Tyler Davis made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. He has become a key player for Berry: the team is 7-2 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-9 otherwise.

In other batting news, Bryce Hodges and Xavier Wilson did most of the damage at the plate: Hodges went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Wilson got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI. Hodges is becoming a predictor of Berry's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 5-11 when he doesn't).

Berry's record now sits at 8-11. As for Olympic, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.

Olympic took their win against Berry when the teams last played back in May of 2023 by a conclusive 18-3 score. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cardinals turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
