Soccer Recap: Orono Comes Up Short

Orono was the 3-0 winner over Jefferson when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday.

Orono's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Jefferson, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Orono will venture away from home to challenge Delano at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Jefferson, they will head out to square off against Benilde-St. Margaret's at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
