Softball Game Preview: Hunt Warriors vs. West Johnston Wildcats

Hunt hasn't had much luck against West Johnston recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Warriors will challenge the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Hunt has given up an average of 15.5 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Hunt fell victim to Southern Nash and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Firebirds, falling 15-0. The Warriors just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Meanwhile, West Johnston earned a 6-1 win over C.B. Aycock on Friday.

Hunt's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for West Johnston, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.

Hunt suffered a grim 20-0 defeat to West Johnston when the teams last played last Friday. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
