Baseball Recap: Bonita Springs Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Bonita Springs, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They never let the Naples Golden Eagles get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Thursday. This was payback for the Bullsharks, who suffered an 11-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Derek Hernandez Jr was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. He has become a key player for Bonita Springs: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 6-7 otherwise. Alan Palamino was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Bonita Springs moved to 11-7 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Naples, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.
