Soccer Recap: Mineral Ridge Find Success

Mineral Ridge took a three-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Bristol, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Rams narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Panthers 2-1. Mineral Ridge wouldn't have won without Tyler Simpson, who scored the game-winner.

Mineral Ridge used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Bristol. Brandon Komsa played for 80 minutes having averaged 60 this season. He made the most of the opportunity, putting up one assist A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.

Mineral Ridge's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Bristol, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.
