Softball Recap: Niskayuna Has No Trouble Against Fonda-Fultonville

Niskayuna's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Fonda-Fultonville Valley Hawks as they made off with an 18-1 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Silver Warriors considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

The victory got Niskayuna back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Niskayuna will square off against Saratoga Springs at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Streaks' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Silver Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Fonda-Fultonville, they will venture away from home to square off against Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Valley Hawks' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
