Basketball Recap: Moscow Takes a Loss

Moscow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a 65-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coeur d'Alene Vikings. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 66th, while the Vikings are ranked tenth).

Moscow's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Coeur d'Alene, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-9.

Moscow does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Coeur d'Alene, they are taking a road trip to face off against Big Sky at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Coeur d'Alene knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Big Sky likes a good challenge.
