Basketball Game Preview: Bloomington Bobcats/Lady Cats vs. Karnes City Badgers

Bloomington hasn't had much luck against Karnes City recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Both will round out the year against one another at at 10:30 a.m. Bloomington has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Bloomington headed into their last game having not scored more than 30 points for three straight, but Louise let them put that streak behind them. Bloomington blew past Louise 63-18 on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Bobcats/Lady Cats as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Karnes City had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They secured a 49-45 W over the Bulldogs.

Karnes City's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Bloomington, their win bumped their record up to 2-8.

Bloomington came up short against Karnes City in their previous matchup back in December of 2017, falling 53-46. Can Bloomington avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
