Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lincoln). They came out on top against the Lanphier Lions on Tuesday by a score of 15-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The Railsplitters have beaten the Lions the last eight times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Lions has come to flipping the script.

Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Lanphier, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lincoln is set to face off against their familiar foe Normal University at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Lanphier will challenge rival Glenwood at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
