Soccer Recap: Chestatee Comes Up Short

Chestatee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against the East Jackson Eagles, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Chestatee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 361st, while East Jackson are ranked 125th).

Chestatee's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for East Jackson, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Chestatee will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pickens at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th. East Jackson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
