After a string of five wins, Morrow's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 2-0 to the Dutchtown Bulldogs. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Morrow was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-23.

Zarriah Hollinger paced Morrow's offense, picking up seven kills. Hollinger got some help from Jaiden Cox and her nine assists. Hope White controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Morrow's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Dutchtown, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Morrow has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Rockdale County on the 28th. As for Dutchtown, they will square off against Locust Grove on September 4.
