Volleyball Recap: Parowan Falls Despite Big Games from Erika Kelley and Mckell Chidester

Parowan lost against Beaver back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rams fell just short of the Beavers by a score of 3-2.

Parowan wouldn't go down easily and took Beaver into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. The final score came out to 25-7, 21-25, 12-25, 25-15, 15-12.

Despite the loss, Parowan had strong showings from McKell Chidester, who had ten digs and two aces, and Erika Kelley, who had 16 kills, 13 digs, and three aces. Kelley has been hot, having posted five or more kills the last seven times she's played.

Parowan's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Beaver, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-8.

Parowan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Kanab on the 23rd. As for Beaver, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against San Juan on the 26th.
