Volleyball Game Preview: Lanphier Lions vs. Springfield Southeast Spartans + Official Tickets

Lanphier is 1-9 against Springfield Southeast since October of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Lions will head out on the road to face off against the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Saturday, Lanphier came up short against Centennial and fell 2-0.

Meanwhile, Springfield Southeast also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Jacksonville by a score of 2-0. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Crimsons recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-10.

Lanphier's defeat dropped their record down to 5-21. As for Springfield Southeast, their loss dropped their record down to 6-17.

Lanphier couldn't quite get it done against Springfield Southeast in their previous matchup two weeks ago as they fell 2-0. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
