Basketball Recap: Tazewell Comes Up Short

Tazewell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 27th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Graham G-Men 53-14. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 406th, while the G-Men are ranked 118th).

Tazewell's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Graham, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tazewell has already played their next matchup (against Hurley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Graham has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Richlands.
