Basketball Recap: Tri County Northeast Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Tri County Northeast had lost four straight headed into Thursday's game, but Ben Jorgensen didn't let it get to five. The Tri County Northeast Wolfpack took down the Siouxland Christian Eagles 51-35 on Thursday thanks in part to Jorgensen, who went 7 of 14 on his way to 20 points in addition to eight boards and six assists. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2023.

Tri County Northeast's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Siouxland Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Tri County Northeast wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 56-42 loss against Laurel-Concord-Coleridge on the 13th. As for Siouxland Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 71-41 defeat against Lawton-Bronson on the 13th.
