After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Upper Dublin, Springfield Township was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Bensalem Fighting Owls by a score of 10-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won four games by six runs or more so far this season.

Springfield Township's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Bensalem, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Springfield Township didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 13-1 defeat against Souderton on the 21st. Bensalem has also already played their next contest (against Abington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
