Softball Recap: Beech Buccaneers vs. Lebanon Blue Devils
Beech won the last time they faced Lebanon and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Buccaneers walked away with a 9-5 victory over the Blue Devils. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Buccaneers.
Brianna Buckley made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed seven innings while giving up four earned runs off nine hits. Buckley was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Aubrey Bolen and Madison Pinkleton did most of the damage at the plate: Bolen went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, while Pinkleton went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Those three runs gave Bolen a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kynlie Powell, who got on base in two of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
Beech always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .536. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
