Softball Recap: Forrest County Agricultural Takes a Loss

Forrest County Agricultural was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 11-1 to the Purvis Tornadoes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tornadoes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 last Thursday.

Forrest County Agricultural saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Desteney Hartfield, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Forrest County Agricultural's loss dropped their record down to 6-24. As for Purvis, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forrest County Agricultural will challenge Pearl River Central at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Purvis, they will take on West Marion at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
