Basketball Recap: Everett Takes a Loss

Everett lost against Snohomish back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Everett Seagulls were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 45-44 to the Snohomish Panthers. The Seagulls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Everett lost, don't look at Noah Parker. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 boards. Parker is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Brunni, who posted six points and four steals.

Everett's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Snohomish, they moved to 5-10 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Everett has already played their next match, a 60-46 victory against Stanwood on the 21st. As for Snohomish, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 53-50 defeat against Marysville Getchell on the 21st.
