Volleyball Recap: River Valley Takes a Loss

River Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Gila Ridge Hawks.

River Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Gila Ridge, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-3.

River Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Pinecrest Academy Cadence on the 13th. As for Gila Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 1-0 victory against Needles on the 13th.
