Baseball Recap: Bayside Academy Comes Up Short

Bayside Academy came up into this matchup off a tough ten-run loss last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Hueytown Golden Gophers by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. The Admirals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bayside Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Hueytown, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Bayside Academy and Hueytown's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Bayside Academy and Fairhope (who has only given up four runs per game) will meet at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Hueytown will square off against American Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, a team that's only allowed 2.22 runs per game.
