Volleyball Recap: Lilith Roman and Emma Fowler Secure Win for Immaculate Heart Academy

Immaculate Heart Academy extended their postseason success on Thursday against Academy of the Holy A. They put the hurt on the Angels with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Blue Eagles, who have now won three contests in a row.

One reason for the win was Immaculate Heart Academy's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-23, 25-14.

Immaculate Heart Academy was led to victory by Emma Fowler and Lilith Roman. Fowler had ten aces and seven digs, while Roman had 17 digs. Those ten aces gave Fowler a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Immaculate Heart Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in five consecutive matches.

Immaculate Heart Academy's record now sits at 22-5. As for Academy of the Holy A, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

As of now, neither Immaculate Heart Academy nor the Angels have any future games scheduled.
