There's no place like home for Woodland, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Malden Green Wave 4-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Woodland also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2022.

For Malden's part, Alyssa Broom was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she pitched six innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits (she also only allowed one walk).
