Catalina Foothills has gone 8-0 against Rincon/University recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Catalina Foothills Falcons will venture away from home to square off against the Rincon/University Rangers at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Catalina Foothills took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They blew past Nogales, posting a 68-33 win. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 44th, while the Apaches are ranked 168th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Rincon/University had just enough and edged Mountain View out 58-56 on Tuesday.

Catalina Foothills has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Rincon/University, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.

Catalina Foothills didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Rincon/University in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 72-66 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Catalina Foothills since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
