Union Grove came tearing into Tuesday's contest with ten straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Jones County Greyhounds. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolverines also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Union Grove easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-9.

Union Grove's win bumped their record up to 22-3-1. As for Jones County, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-13.

Coincidentally, Union Grove and Jones County will both be playing Locust Grove the next time they take the court. The Greyhounds will host the Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wolverines will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
