Basketball Game Preview: Auburn Adventist Falcons vs. Mesa Grande Academy Cardinals

The Auburn Adventist Falcons will challenge the Mesa Grande Academy Cardinals on Thursday. Auburn Adventist knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Mesa Grande Academy likes a good challenge.

Auburn Adventist will head into Tuesday's game hoping to keep the good times rolling: they had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 45-point drubbing they dealt Puget Sound Adventist on Tuesday. Auburn Adventist simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Puget Sound Adventist 75-30. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 145th, while the Sharks are ranked 322nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Mesa Grande Academy came up short against Redlands Adventist Academy on Thursday and fell 63-52.

Mesa Grande Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Auburn Adventist, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.
