Soccer Recap: Mt. Spokane's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

After soaring to six goals the game before, Mt. Spokane was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lewis & Clark Tigers. While losing is never fun, Mt. Spokane can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while Lewis & Clark are ranked 14th).

The defeat snapped Mt. Spokane's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-4-2 record. As for Lewis & Clark, they pushed their record up to 12-1-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Mt. Spokane will square off against Mead at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lewis & Clark, they will challenge Ridgeline at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Ridgeline will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Lewis & Clark surely won't give up without a fight.
