Softball Recap: Bedford Takes a Loss

Bedford fell victim to Streetsboro and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Rockets, falling 16-0. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Bearcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Bedford saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Yandeliz Rosario, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base. Rosario is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Bedford's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Streetsboro, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3.

Looking ahead, Bedford will challenge Kirtland at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Streetsboro, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-1 win against Ravenna on the 18th.
