Soccer Recap: Burroughs Comes Up Short

Burroughs was the 3-0 winner over Pembroke Hill when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bombers fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. Burroughs fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Pembroke Hill since Saturday.

Burroughs has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4-1 record this season. As for Pembroke Hill, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Coming up, Burroughs will square off against Webster Groves at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pembroke Hill, they will take on Pleasant Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
