Volleyball Recap: Culver Community Starts Season with Loss at Home

Culver Community unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bremen Lions on Saturday. The Cavaliers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-12.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bremen to victory, but perhaps none more so than Teagan Feathers, who had six kills, six digs, and three blocks. That's the most digs Feathers has posted since back in September of 2024.

Bremen has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Culver Community will take on Lowell at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Bremen, their road trip will continue as they head out to face South Central at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
