St. Augustine gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 56-6 win over the McDonogh 35 Roneagles. The Purple Knights haven't had any issues with the Roneagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Coming up, St. Augustine will face off against East St. John at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for McDonogh 35, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Booker T. Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
