Football Recap: Judith Herrera and Maya Manzo-Fernandez Pace Madera South Defense

Madera South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Redlands Adventist Academy Bulldogs, falling 34-14. That's two games in a row now that the Stallions have lost by exactly 20 points.

Madera South didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Judith Herrera and Maya Manzo-Fernandez.

Madera South's loss dropped their record down to 0-12-1. As for Redlands Adventist Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Madera South wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 32-6 defeat against Loma Linda Academy on the 20th. As for Redlands Adventist Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-0 loss against Norte Vista on the 22nd.
