Soccer Recap: Palisade Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Palisade lost against Montrose back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Red Hawks, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Palisade can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 109th, while Montrose are ranked 26th).

Palisade's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-1. As for Montrose, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2-2 record this season.

Palisade didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-1 victory against Grand Junction Central on the 17th. As for Montrose, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-2 draw against Roaring Fork on the 21st.
