Softball Recap: Telstar Rebels vs. Maranacook Black Bears
Telstar had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 20-16 victory over the Maranacook Black Bears.
Telstar got a massive performance out of Morgan Zetts, who got on base in four of her six plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Sarah Chase was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in five of her six plate appearances.
Telstar will head out on the road to take on Spruce Mountain at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Maranacook, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Madison at 4:00 p.m.
