Soccer Recap: East Duplin Turns Things Around After Road Loss + How To Watch

There's no place like home for East Duplin, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Pender Patriots 3-2. East Duplin's winning goal came courtesy of Osiris Mendoza.

East Duplin has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7-2 record this season. As for Pender, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 9-11-2 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Duplin will challenge South Lenoir at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pender, they will take on Heide Trask at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Pender will be up against Heide Trask's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.74 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
