Football Recap: Lewisville Piles Up the Points Against Braswell + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lewisville). They blew past the Braswell Bengals 46-0 on Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Farmers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 11th, while the Bengals are ranked 302nd).

Traejan Mueller had an outrageously good game as he picked up 97 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Those two receiving touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Lewisville's defense and their four sacks. Preston Carothers was especially locked on to Braswell's QB and sacked him twice. Another thorn in the Bengals' side was Kanye Anderson, who picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made five total tackles.

Lewisville pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.3 points on average over those games. As for Braswell, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
