West Jones' defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 7-0 margin over Picayune. The high-scoring effort was just what the Mustangs needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.

Meanwhile, Pearl River Central came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 goals) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 7-0 victory. The game marked the Blue Devils' most dominant win of the season.

West Jones has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 33 goals over those five matchups. As for Pearl River Central, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5-1.
